This day-long program explores the field of Relationship Coaching. Our program prepares coaches to work with the full range of interpersonal relationships, whether family, couples, friends or coworker relationships. The program includes an in-depth review of the principal types of interpersonal relationships followed by features common to all relationships, such as stages of development and recurrent problems that cut across relationship types. Participants will learn about personal challenges that impair the ability to connect with others and how relationship coaches can address these challenges. Key topics also include effective communication and interpersonal conflict. Specific strategies for relationship coaching using the ICF Core Competencies are included.
The program also includes live demonstrations and one-to-one practice coaching focused on relationship issues. This program is designed for those who either have already completed a coaching certification program or are just interested in the field.
